Message from CU Executives, Inc. founder, Elaine Boyd

Acting as a nerve center for credit unions looking for talent and vice versa, I have assisted credit unions with staffing matches for a long time. It is an exhilarating challenge, and successes are immensely rewarding. It is the ultimate win-win.

My years at Symitar gave me a feel for a variety of industry trends. Hiring trends in particular intrigued me from the start. Different patterns emerge in different types of credit union shops.

One consistent pattern I have observed is credit unions seeming eager to hire based on skill set alone, with small regard for personality and culture fit. Just as the fabulously successful coffee purveyor Starbucks preaches, people are what they are; desireable traits are often innate.

It is here that I am in a superior position to make staffing matches. I have spent my credit union career being sensitive to who each credit union is, why and how each is different from the rest. My contacts for candidate possibilities are almost innumerable.
